VMC Club At Rutland Airport
This is a new program for us. The clubs are scenario-based discussion groups based on what-if situations you might encounter while flying. Open and relaxed conversation among pilots, students, spouses, and anyone else have proven to be intensely interesting while developing aviation proficiency. All the scenarios are guided by the EAA and presented via a short video based on a real situation that happened in the past. The presentation leader is Charlie Rockwell, CFII, of Green Mountain Flight Training at KRUT, and will be held in the school office until we outgrow it. These sessions will soon qualify for WINGS credits, and will be posted on the FAA SPANS website. The monthly VMC Club is currently on the second Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00, no charge.
