The Structures Section of the Highway Division of the Vermont Agency of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as VTrans, is seeking consultant engineering services to assist in the development of bridge and other transportation structures projects. The selected consultants, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant, shall be responsible for performing a variety of assignments that may include but are not limited to: engineering; project administration; design; peer review of VTrans in-house designs or other Consultant designs; load rating; hydraulic analysis; traffic analysis; environmental permitting; right-of-way (ROW) services; utility relocation services; developing construction schedules; independent cost estimating; advertisement and bidding support and construction engineering support. The types of services required will be in accordance with the “Project Development Process Manual” and as directed by the VTrans Project Manager (VPM). This RFP will result in award to multiple Consultants.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans), Policy, Planning & Intermodal Development, Rail and Aviation Bureau releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at the Edward F. Knapp State Airport. In order to operate as an FBO the selected Proposer will be required to enter into two agreements with VTrans, 1) a Lease of certain airport facilities, substantially in the form attached; and, 2) a Contract for Services. The provisions of the lease will require the FBO to make payments to VTrans, in consideration of the ability to operate and collect revenues as spelled out in the lease documents. The provisions of the Contract for Services establish the terms and conditions for the provision of FBO services. No payment will be made by VTrans to the selected FBO under the terms of the Contract for Services.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans), Division of Finance and Administration, Vermont Local Roads Branch (VLR) of the Vermont Transportation Training Center (VTTC) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for providing training and support to municipalities and their workforce. VLR provides employees with effective training opportunities to increase competency, safety, technical understanding of road related topics and operations as well as professional development. VLR seeks to solicit proposals from qualified training providers (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) who have the capacity to develop and deliver customized and off the shelf training programs designed to support the skills and knowledge of the municipal workforce and development of its professionals. Proposal are also welcome from universities and colleges to provide accredited training programs, assessment of training programs for accreditation, certification and/or continuing education credits.
