Brief Project Description: In January 2021 Vermont began working on a FHWA “Every Day Counts” (EDC) initiative to look at Virtual Public Involvement (VPI) across Vermont, including VTrans, RPCs and local municipalities. VPI is more than just online meetings and includes a wide variety of techniques including mobile applications, project visualizations, do-it-yourself videos, crowdsourcing tools and mapping tools. This poster/ presentation will give some examples of what has been done at VTrans to date, as well as next steps for VPI across Vermont.
