At the Agency of Transportation, Workforce is so important to us, it’s Goal #1 in our Agency’s Strategic Plan: “Promote organizational excellence by attracting, developing, and retaining a talented, diverse, and engaged workforce.”

Our Workforce Management team is committed to that goal and works towards it every day by providing:

  • A Strategic Workforce Plan with specific goals for our workforce
  • Four Strategic Workforce Committees that all employees can join to participate in valuable workforce work
  • A focus on being a strengths-based organization, utilizing Gallup’s CliftonStrengths as our model
  • Various Workforce trainings, such as Annual Manager/Supervisor training, Developing Succession Planning training, etc.
