2024 VTrans Hybrid Research and Innovation Symposium

2024 Hybrid Symposium Graphic

The VTrans Research and Innovation Symposium was hosted on September 25 both in person and online at the Barre Auditorium located at 16 Auditorium Hill in Barre. This was our eighth annual Symposium, which also serves as our State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) Collaborators and Partners Event. Most activities occured between 8am and 2:45pm (details at bottom of page). Please reach out to Emily Parkany or Ashlie Mercado with any questions.

2024 Projects Include:

In 2024, we featured 24 projects in four technical sessions (Planning and Safety; Materials and Structures; Asset Management, Environmental, and Resilience; and EVs and GHG Plus). Please learn about the specific projects with the links below. The web pages include Project Name, Description, and available Fact Sheets, Posters, Presentation Slides, and Presentation Recordings from Sept 25.

This year we are featuring a Symposium Booklet! The booklet briefly introduces each of the 24 projects and their impact to Vermont, two AOT project Champion profiles, and additional pages at the end with Symposium logistics (agendas, map, etc.). We hope that this introduction to the VT AOT Research Program serves as a useful tool beyond the one-day Symposium. We thank our presenters, researchers, innovators, project Champions and other partners for their efforts with these projects and our event and booklet.
