The Safe Systems section of the Operations and Safety Bureau is comprised of the Active Transportation group and the State Highway Safety Office.
The Active Transportation group is made up of the VTrans experts on bike and pedestrian safety.

The Vermont State Highway Safety Office facilitates and supports, with federal grants, a statewide network to promote safe driving behavior on Vermont highways.
