Richmond Bridge #29

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) is replacing Bridge #29 in Richmond, VT along U.S. Route 2 spanning Interstate 89. The project will replace the existing 8-span bridge with a new 2-span off-alignment bridge that matches the width of the corridor. The new bridge will be widened to meet the current typical section of the corridor. This includes 6-foot shoulders and two 12-foot travel lanes.

Traffic on US Route 2 will be maintained over the existing bridge during construction.
