The Vermont Agency of Transportation in conjunction with J. Hutchins Inc. (Hutchins) will be repaving VT Route 120 from the intersection of VT Route 120 & VT Route 105 in Sheldon extending northerly approximately 5.2 miles to Hanna Road in Franklin.
As part of this project, there will be a complete reconstruction of the roadway and installation of underdrain between the intersection of Rice Hill Road and Triplet Drive in Franklin. This area work will also have a 10' lane restriction.
The anticipated completion is June 2021.

The following is the anticipated upcoming work schedule for the week beginning Monday, June 7, 2021:
This project is complete with the exception of the pavement markings which is delayed due to scheduling conflicts.

Motorists can expect traffic control allowing for one lane of alternating travel within the work area.

Final paving is complete!
Saturday:
- Complete shoulder work throughout the project limits
Monday through Friday:
- Weather permitting, line striping/pavement markings throughout the project limits
- Removal of construction signage after line striping is complete
Motorist can expect a lane closure within the work area with traffic control present.

The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday, May 10, 2021:
Monday through Friday:
- Weather permitting, final paving begins in Sheldon proceeding north to Franklin. Due to weather, this may include Saturday May 8, 2021.
- Complete stone lining of ditch in the reconstructed area between Triplet Drive and Rice Hill Road
- Shoulder and driveway apron work continues throughout the project limits
Motorist can expect a lane closure within the work area with traffic control present.
Paving the "leveling course" on VT Route 120
The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday, May 3, 2021:
Monday through Friday:
- Weather permitting, begin the first lift of paving the existing roadway at approximately Hanna Road, Franklin working south towards Sheldon.
- Shoulder work throughout the project limits
- Driveway and side road prep for paving
Motorist can expect a lane closure within the work area.

- Begin grinding of the existing roadway at approximately Hanna Road, Franklin working south towards Sheldon.

- Begin excavation of the roadway between Rice Hill Road and Triplet Drive, Franklin
