AMM9: Remote Radar Inspection of Concrete Bridges for Moisture Characterization and Crack Depth Detection

Brief Project Description: Degradation of concrete bridges is usually affected by subsurface moisture content and characterized by crack distribution. This project describes the development of a remote 10GHz radar inspection technique for concrete bridges. Feasibility of detecting subsurface moisture content and crack depth detection is demonstrated on laboratory specimens and in field tests.
