ENV2: Quantifying Nutrient Reductions Achieved by Erosion Remediation Projects on Vermont's Roads

Brief Project Description: Transportation networks have been recognized as contributors to water quality impairment by discharging stormwater, sediment, and nutrients to receiving waters. This project aims to improve understanding of gully erosion on Vermont’s roads and quantify the effectiveness of erosion control measures to mitigate this impact at concentrated road discharge points.
