The VTrans Research and Innovation Symposium was hosted on September 25 both in person and online at the Barre Auditorium located at 16 Auditorium Hill in Barre. This was our eighth annual Symposium, which also serves as our State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) Collaborators and Partners Event. In 2024, we featured 24 projects in four technical sessions (Planning and Safety; Materials and Structures; Asset Management, Environmental, and Resilience; and EVs and GHG Plus). This year we are featuring a Symposium Booklet! The booklet briefly introduces each of the 24 projects and their impact to Vermont, two AOT project Champion profiles, and additional pages at the end with Symposium logistics (agendas, map, etc.). We hope that this introduction to the VT AOT Research Program serves as a useful tool beyond the one-day Symposium.
