Breakouts for Symposium Kick-Off - September 9, 2020

1:00 - Welcome from FHWA and AOT
1:10 - Strategic Workforce (Presentation and Discussion)—Christine Hetzel and Lori Valburn
1:55 - Overview of Virtual Research and Innovation Symposium
2:10 - Breakout Session A
2:35 - Breakout Session B
3:00 - Reconvene and Closing

BREAKOUTS:  In each 20-25 minute breakout meeting, the presenter/researcher teams will each have THREE MINUTES to entice people to learn more about their projects and view the posters and Fact Sheets and other project information more closely.  In the three minutes, the presenters/researchers can make a short presentation (maximum five slides), they can display your poster and provide highlights (a 2-3 minute elevator speech), they can describe the other links available on your project page, etc.  It’s important for the presenters/researchers to show themselves on video so that folks know who they’re asking questions of.    This is the chance to entice people to learn more about the projects and for the participants to learn about 25% of the projects featured in the Virtual Research and Innovation Symposium.  AFTER all of the teams have presented (3-5 teams in each breakout), there will be the chance for general discussion and questions.  These are SHORT quick-intro sessions.
