Workforce Management is the process of analyzing the organization's workforce by studying the past, managing the present, and predicting the future.
One way the Agency of Transportation demonstrates its commitment to Workforce Management is through the Agency's Strategic Plan. The first goal of the Strategic Plan is: “Promote organizational excellence by attracting, developing, and retaining a talented, diverse, and engaged workforce.”
Our Workforce Management team is committed to:
- Creating and maintaining a Strategic Workforce Plan that contains annual workforce goals and targets
- Facilitating four Strategic Workforce Committees, comprised of employees throughout the Agency, who analyze workforce issues and develop suggestions/programs to improve AOT's workplace culture
- Researching and providing best practices to sustain a strengths-based culture, utilizing Gallup’s CliftonStrengths
- Developing and delivering various Workforce trainings that educate supervisors to empower staff
