Research Process - Ideas for 2024 Cycle due Dec 15th.
- Submit a Research Idea
Ideas are due mid December for the new project cycle. Ideas need to be matched with a technical VTrans Champion to go further in the process. The Research Section welcomes the submission of research ideas from anyone (VTrans staff, potential external researchers, municipalities, RPCs, etc.) throughout the year. These will be reviewed throughout the year with an emphasis in November-December. It may take several months for us to respond to you about your idea.
To get on our Qualified Researcher List and work on an external research projects with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, you need to respond to the Request for Qualifications. Our current Qualified Researcher List can be found here. The Qualified Researcher List will be active for two years and the next chance to get on this list will be in Fall 2024. Questions need to be directed to Contract Administration Grants Supervisor Tricia Scribner, tricia.scribner@vermont.gov.
