The Department of Buildings and General Services (BGS), the Agency of Transportation (AOT), the Agency of Commerce and Community Development (ACCD), are conducting a study of Vermont’s system of Visitor Information Centers. The study will assess various facets of the Vermont Information Centers Division (VICD) program including state and federal requirements, needed infrastructure investments, operational costs, visitor counts, economic development opportunities, and alternative service delivery models. This effort will culminate by May 2021 with a set of recommendations to meet requirements and program objectives in a fiscally sustainable manner.
